SLOLA's Next General Meeting
Just a head's up for your calendar, save the date of 19 February at 2:30 PM for the next general meeting and seed swap of the Seed Library of Los Angeles. Committee chairs will meet at 1:45 with the rest of the Board (anyone may attend) to plan the meeting's agenda. One thing on the agenda will be adoption of the logo - this is the second logo among the ones we have to choose. Hope you can be here to help us choose!

Is this going to be outdoors? Is there an alternate spot if it rains?
ReplyDeleteMary - It is our intention to have it outdoors unless the weather is too cool or wet. At that point, I'll look for an alternate location. Most of the indoor spaces I have won't allow for some 50 people, so we really do bank on having good weather! If we have to move indoors, go to the patio at The Learning Garden and we'll have someone to direct you to where we are.

Please note! A significant weather system is predicted to be moving through the LA Basin this coming Saturday. The board will be deciding whether to move the meeting's location or changing the date - watch this space for late breaking news!
ReplyDeleteWe do have an indoor space for our meeting if the rain predicted does materialize! Please come to our usual place (the patio at The Learning Garden) and we'll be able to direct you to the room where the meeting will be held. If it is not cold/rainy, we will meet on the patio as we have in the past... david
